By downloading, installing, or using TrackMySpend ("the App"), you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Oceanus Tech. They apply to all users worldwide on both free and premium plans.
TrackMySpend is a personal expense tracking application developed by Oceanus Tech. It allows users to record expenses, set budgets, view spending trends, add expenses by voice, import bank statements from CSV, Excel (.xlsx), or PDF files, collaborate via shared workspaces, and export financial data. The App is available on Android via Google Play.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App (16 in the European Economic Area). By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal expense tracking. You must NOT:

The free version of TrackMySpend is available at no cost and includes the following features:
Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob.
TrackMySpend Premium removes all advertisements and unlocks the following additional features:

All payments are processed exclusively by Google Play. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Google Play's payment terms and conditions. Oceanus Tech does not store, process, or have access to your payment card information at any time.
All subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You authorise Google Play to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → TrackMySpend → Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You will retain premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refund requests are handled exclusively by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. Oceanus Tech does not process refunds directly. Contact Google Play support at play.google.com/store/account for refund requests within Google's eligible refund window.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Your continued subscription after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
When your Premium subscription expires:
Oceanus Tech may offer a referral reward program ("Refer & Earn") that grants premium benefits when referred users meet defined activity thresholds. The following conditions apply:
Only Premium subscribers can create a Shared Workspace. As the creator, you are responsible for managing workspace members and the data within your workspace. You may delete the workspace at any time, which removes access for all members.
Free users may join a Shared Workspace using an invite code provided by a Premium creator. Members can add and view expenses in the shared workspace at no cost, without requiring a Premium subscription themselves.
If the creator's Premium subscription expires:
You are responsible for the expense data you add to shared workspaces. Do not add false, misleading, or inappropriate content. Oceanus Tech is not responsible for data added by other workspace members.
TrackMySpend is a personal expense tracking tool only. It is not a financial product.
All content in the App — including but not limited to the design, user interface, graphics, logos, icons, text, code, algorithms, and features — is owned by or licensed to Oceanus Tech and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws including copyright and trademark laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob, including interstitial ads (shown after expense additions) and rewarded ads (shown before report exports). Oceanus Tech does not endorse, warrant, or accept responsibility for any products, services, or content advertised within the App.
Premium subscribers see no advertisements whatsoever.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oceanus Tech and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your account and these Terms.
Oceanus Tech shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
In such events, our obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and we will make reasonable efforts to resume normal service as quickly as possible.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
OCEANUS TECH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Oceanus Tech.
This clause does not apply where prohibited by law. Users in jurisdictions where class action waivers are unenforceable retain their right to participate in class proceedings.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Step 1 — Informal resolution: Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at trackmyspend@oceanustech.in and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. We will respond within 30 days.
Step 2 — Formal proceedings: If informal resolution fails after 30 days, any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
For users in the European Union: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account option in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by contacting us at trackmyspend@oceanustech.in.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, with or without prior notice, for:
Upon termination, your licence to use the App is immediately revoked. If you initiated the termination, you may export your data for up to 30 days if the App remains accessible. After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted. Sections 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17, and 18 of these Terms survive termination.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Oceanus Tech regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you via a prominent notice within the App at least 7 days before the changes take effect. For non-material changes, the revised Terms apply immediately upon posting.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the App before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
